1,911 active New Jersey carriers that reported at least 5 power units in both November 2024 and October 2026 grew from 77,001 to 81,531 power units (+5.9%). That ranks New Jersey 28 of 50 states by percent change in reported fleet size.
Over the same period their combined reported driver count rose from 45,254 to 48,823 (+7.9%), compared with +5% nationally.
