2,389 active Indiana carriers that reported at least 5 power units in both November 2024 and October 2026 grew from 121,349 to 131,056 power units (+8%). That ranks Indiana 16 of 50 states by percent change in reported fleet size.
Over the same period their combined reported driver count rose from 83,464 to 90,454 (+8.4%), compared with +5% nationally.
CARVANA added the most power units, from 1,084 to 2,458.
Indiana accounts for 5.1% of the net power units added by comparable carriers nationwide.
The average fleet among these carriers is 54.9 power units, against 36.4 nationally.
